Objective:

For his M.S. degree, Matthew Buffington provided a monograph of the world genera of the Gronotoma Group (sensu Nordlander 1982). This monograph will enable us to delimit the genera of this complex group and eventually compliment a key to all the eucoiline genera of the Holarctic region. This monograph will also facilitate assessment of relationships among all eucoiline genera.

• Eucoiline Image Gallery - The following images reflect the majority of eucoiline genera included in my monograph of the Gronotoma Group of Genera. Images were obtained using a ProgRes 3008 digital camera fitted to a Leica MZ APO stereomicroscope; the digital images seen here are actually composites made from 3-7 seperate images (depending on the specimen) that were then "montaged" into a single image using AutoMontage 3.02.
